Overdue fines

Student fines for overdue books accrue at the rate of 10 cents per day. Fines per item do not exceed the cost of replacing the book.

Students who fail to return overdue library items or whose fines amount to more than $10.00 will have their grades and transcripts frozen.

Returning students will not be able to register for courses until they have returned the items in question and paid their fines.

If the item is lost or damaged - see our Lost materials page for the full policy:

If a student loses or damages a library book or video, he/she must pay for the replacement cost of the item. There will be a $20.00 replacement fee added to the cost of the book. This fee covers the cost to both the library and the business office for the procedures involved in purchasing materials.....
