Inventory - Policy

Inventory of materials is important for maintenance of the collection. Dilapidated, worn, and older materials can be “seen” during inventory to allow for professional decisions to be made on weeding and collection development.

Inventory should be done annually to ensure that the collection is in the best shape. As the collection grows, inventory can be done in rolling stages throughout the year.
