General Rules of Conduct - Procedure
Distracting conversation is discouraged by a staff member approaching the patron with a friendly attitude and a gentle request that the patron cease and desist. Offer the use of the workroom for small group study if that seems appropriate.
Consumption of food and drink in the library is discouraged by a staff member approaching the patron with a friendly attitude and gentle request that the patron take the food and/or drink outside the library
Staff are to keep an eye out for patrons who may need assistance.
