Food and Drink Policy

NMTC school wide policy is that no one is to eat or drink in classrooms and that includes the library.

Consumption of food and drink in the library is discouraged by a staff member approaching the patron with a friendly attitude and gentle request that the patron take the food and/or drink outside the library.

There is a tray at the circulation desk where a patron may leave their drink while they work in the library.

Staff may consume their lunch or snack in the privacy of the workroom or their office. Food and drink are not to be consumed at the circulation desk.
